Jacquet-Droz automatic Chronograph - Lemania 1340 - 70's

Splendid gold-plated chronograph from the Swiss luxury brand Jacquet-Droz, dating from the early 1970s. 

The Jacquet-Droz brand was founded in 1738 and still represents a great example of Swiss watchmaking excellence today. 

It is equipped with the highly reputed, reliable, and efficient Lemania 1340 movement. 

This 6-hand automatic chronograph movement is characterized by a 60-minute counter via a central hand (gold with a black tip on this watch), making the chronograph reading very easy. The hours are read in the classic manner on a subdial at 6 o’clock. 

 The watch is in excellent condition, with the only flaw being a small loss in the plating on the left side, which is invisible when worn but visible in the photos. 

 The movement was serviced in March 2025 and is working perfectly, along with all its functions (chronograph, quick date setting). 

 It comes on a handcrafted thick leather strap. 

 Dimensions: 40 mm diameter without crown, 41 mm with crown, 42 mm lug-to-lug.
