A very rare Omega Genève.
This ref. 511.416 from 1974 stands out with its extraordinary textured gold floral dial, a raised embossed pattern found on very few examples of this series.
Most oval Genève watches from this era feature a classic sunburst dial — this one is of a completely different calibre. The black Roman indices on this textured background create a unique play of light and relief, enhanced by fine leaf hands.
‘Genève’ marking at 6 o'clock, Omega logo at 12 o'clock, perfectly clear.
Body in oval gold-plated 20 microns on the bezel, stainless steel back, original signed Omega crown, original signed glass.
Dimensions: 27 mm wide excluding crown (28.5 mm with crown), 33 mm high (case), 38 mm from lug to lug, approximately 7 mm thick, lug width 15 mm.
Exceptional condition for a piece over 50 years old.
The Omega calibre 620 that powers it is a manual-winding mechanical movement with 17 jewels, nicknamed ‘Superflat’ with only 2.5 mm thickness. Approximately 40 hours power reserve, Incabloc shock protection. Fully serviced in March 2026 in our workshops, it works perfectly.
Complete full set: original red Omega box with gold Ω logo in very good condition, and period international warranty certificate filled out by hand: movement no. 33919020, sold on 30 June 1974 at Charles Dumez, watchmaker-jeweller in Uccle-Brussels.
New green saffiano leather bracelet from LIC, valued at €105, which adds a stunning contemporary touch to the golden tones of the case.
