Bicolour case in steel and gold-plated measuring 32 mm in diameter (33.5 mm including the crown), height 35.5 mm from lug to lug.
Dial in genuine black Chinese lacquer with gold dust-like inlays, surrounded by a brushed gold bezel. Applied round indices and Roman numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. Gold hands. Markings "S.T. Dupont Paris" and "Swiss Made" on the dial.
The lugs are remarkable: integrated into the case with a bi-material treatment, they feature gold inserts with a guilloché Paris nail pattern that extend the aesthetic of the dial.
Case back signed S.T. Dupont Paris, Chinese Lacquer Dial, ref. 199.11, numbered 11-0850. Stainless steel case, water resistant. Swiss quartz movement.
Black crocodile-style leather strap with a gold-plated ardillon buckle signed with the S.T. Dupont monogram. All in its original burgundy case stamped S.T. Dupont Paris.

The S.T. Dupont house was founded in Paris in 1872 by Simon Tissot-Dupont. Chinese lacquer has been the emblematic craftsmanship of the house since the 1930s, initially applied to the famous lighters and pens, then extended to watchmaking. These lacquers are secret compositions made from natural resins applied in several layers with drying times of several days. The Chinese Lacquer watch series dates from the 1980s-90s and sold new for around €2,000.
