At the junction of the 60s and 70s, Omega presents its Chronostop, a simplified chronograph with a single function, in a sports series designed for the Italian market, of which the 146.012 is the most accomplished interpretation, case signed by Fontana for the general agent De Marchi.
Monobloc steel case, middle, upper bezel and back in one piece, opening from the top. Back marked Tool 107 Waterproof.
Wide satin-finished inclined bezel around the dial.

Condition: case not polished, original satin finish well readable. Fine scratches and signs of use on the upper bezel and back. Well-preserved dial, uniform hue, a few fine scattered spots visible up close. Bracelet with usual signs of wear, slight play in the links, secure closure.
Dimensions: diameter 41.5 mm excluding crown, 44 mm including crown.
Calibre 920 manual winding, derived from the 861 of the Speedmaster, 17 jewels, 21,600 vibrations per hour, approximately 40 hours of power reserve. Date version of the Chronostop movement, fitted to only 61,000 watches, compared to 124,000 for the 865 without date. Monopusher chronograph with cam and lateral clutch, limited to the minute: one press starts the seconds hand, a second press stops it, releasing it returns it to zero.
Serviced in September 2026, complete disassembly and cleaning, detailed lubrication, adjustment. The watch works perfectly.
