Staybrite steel case, snap-on back stamped Omega Watch Co - Fab. Suisse - Swiss Made and reference 2537-3, faceted lugs curved towards the strap.
Silvered dial turned cream, painted Arabic numerals 12, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 alternating with triangular indices, railway minute track and five-minute graduation on the periphery. Numerals, indices and hands retain their original luminescent material, checked by spectrometry in the workshop.
Omega logo and mention Fab Suisse under 12. Steel leaf hands, central seconds hand. Signed crown Ω.

Condition: unrefurbished dial, even cream patina, small spots of oxidation spread across the surface and a fine scratch between the centre and 4 o'clock.
Glass in good condition.
Case marked with usual signs of wear, fine scratches on the sides and back, engravings on the back perfectly legible.

Calibre 283, manual winding mechanical, 17 jewels, 18,000 vibrations per hour, central seconds hand. It belongs to the family of 30 mm calibres, evolution of the 30T2, produced from 1939 to 1963 and awarded at the Kew timing competitions in 1946 and then at Geneva and Neuchâtel from 1947 to 1951. Reliable, robust and precise. Serviced in July 2026: complete disassembly and cleaning, detailed lubrication, regulation. The watch works perfectly.
