Splendid Chronograph with very high historical and collectible value from Omega.
This Omega, reference CK 987, is a crucial milestone in Omega's history.
One of the very first column wheel chronographs, in a Monopusher version, and the grandfather of everything Omega has done since in its chronographs.
This example dates from 1936 or 1937, and is completely original:
- magnificent dial with tachymetric and telemetric scales
- splendid staybrite steel case with its superb central crown featuring an integrated reset push button for the chronograph.
- Omega column wheel chronograph movement 33.3 Chro, serviced in January 2026 and functioning perfectly, very good accuracy, perfect operation of the chronograph.
Moreover, this Chronograph has a very significant diameter for the time of 37.5 mm excluding the crown and 40.5 mm including the crown, with a lug-to-lug height of 44 mm and a lug width (strap width) of 20 mm!
